Okay let me get this straight. A plane carrying spy equipement that is skirting the international waters of China 4,000 miles away from American soil should not be held accountable for assuming the right to spy alongside another nation's boundary. So I suppose it is okay for China to fly spy planes alongside the American coastline. Servicemen who are doing operations like spying on other countries must accept the risks of their profession. President-by-default Bush is irresponsible when he acts like US servicemen should be able to go anywhere and do as they please without potential repercussions. Why not apologize? China has more than one billion people. We have no right to interfere in any other nation's politics, nor should we act like we should be able to do what we would not allow other countries to do to our own nation. Do not presume that China's countryfolk will treat the US as their savior. Our own government is not at all corruption-free, nor can we be said to be any more morally superior. No nation is perfect. We should spend more time on our own domestic problems. Gino Napoli 490 31st Ave. #204 San Francisco, Cal. 94121 Math Teacher Terra Nova High School, Pacifica, Ca. Home: 415 831 4449
