about being liberal or conservative anymore y'all. That is a hype offered by the fascist whores who want to confuse the people with lies while they turn this country into an aristocratic police state. Some people will say anything to attain power and money. There is no such thing as the Liberal Media, but the Corporate media is very real.
is taken lightly
I donít follow it myself
just like everyone else
What I say
is just a parlor game
because words are just constructed
to be free
(and) maybe you lie
to be free
~ ~ ~
When I sigh
itís just an alibi
a ploy of self-destruction
or a plea
Thereís no sign
no alleyway or path to take
that is a guarantee
to be free
(and) maybe you lie
to be free

Josh Hawley is a schmuck
Senator from Missouri who voted to "cancel" the Arizona and Pennsylvania election results, fist-pumped the insurrectionists outside of the Capitol building, and then whines when his book deal gets cancelled -- even though the contract he signed gave the publisher full discretion to end the contract. Not like there aren't plenty of publishers that will publish his propaganda book.
He goes on right-wing radio and attempts to pretend that he wasn't intending to alter the election results. He just has "questions" and "concerns" that apparently were not alleviated by both the 60+ court cases which evinced not a single shred of evidence, or by the Justice Department's inability to find any evidence that systematic fraud occurred at all.
He's just a politician pandering to the rubes who are brainwashed by the right-wing media that lies to them.

No one could have predicted
When this happened in Lansing over the summer because of ... the governor's response to the covid, and yet no one could have saw this coming. What did all these people floating false accusations about voter fraud think would happen? What did fucking Ted Cruz and his ilk think was going to happen when they wore the costume of conscience without any shred of evidence that their accusations of voter fraud have any truth whatsoever.
Election fraud is easy to spot. Signatures are easy to match. Paper records are verifiable. Even people using machines will get a paper copy that is turned in. The idea that dead people voting is not more than 10 IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY is supported by the fact that they are easily found. The people who push that meme conflate the loose matching of names with dead voters with actual voters. Imagine how many Terrance Jones, T. Jones, Terrence Jones, Terance Jones, Terrance Jones Jr., and so on ... that's what these fuckers are doing.
Funny thing. At least half of the 10 found in THE ENTIRE NATION are Republicans.
The pot calls the kettle black, because the pot is rotten to the core.
This. Is. Disgusting.
The aristocracy of the confederacy refused to accept the Presidency of Abraham Lincoln because the basis of the feudal economic system was suddenly threatened. The old Southern order was able to use the Elector system and control of the Senate for many years, until the tumultuous 1850ís when the realities of the feudal system got too much entangled with the ongoing process of the capitalist system that was taking over ó which is why railroads and factories exploded after the Civil War.
So rather than accept the necessary transition and the election of Abraham Lincoln, the Southern aristocracy stirred up the extremist rhetoric and convinced the poor whites that they were being taken over by Northern oppression that wanted to make them no different than black slaves. Racism in the United States exists because it has been cultivated by the aristocracy that refuses to acknowledge the necessity of change, and would rather make the lower orders fight each other, while they pick their pockets for loose change and increase their profits.
Rile up the rubes with false information and inflammatory rhetoric. Send them marching to do the necessary deeds that will create the sedition. That is our history.

Affadavit's you say ?
Holding a stack of 200 plus affadavits while at a press conference does not indicate evidence, at all. Anyone can say whatever they want, even lie, in an affadavit without any repercussions, because merely having people sign affadavits does not mean they will be submitted as evidence in a court case.
Not to mention those affadavits that are submitted by the attorney's of Trump legal team have all been trounced by the judges as hearsay or not evidentiary information.
This is just a public relations stunt in order to gin up the base and raise money. That's how despicable these people are. They pretend to have "evidence" of a vast conspiracy to deny Trump the election, when they know that the will of the people has spoken, because it serves well in the right wing echo chamber where they make their living.

Here are the lyrics
Thereís a time when
we come face to face
with our struggles
they are real
you canít imagine
what goes between
the ears of someone
while they try hard
not to cry
And we are shattered
There are times when we feel
overwhelmed and out of sorts
and wondering whether we drown
from the pounding of reality
and we feel shattered
So now we make our way
into the future
and we seem to find
a quick solution
a remedy for feeling

The trend cannot be dismissed with fairy tales and prevarication
The blowhards and public relations games cannot displace the data. Nor do the words of a disreputable Prez-dent and his minions soothe or ameliorate the reality of those folks who live in the regions of the United States that have been decimated since 1970, as our economy started to slowly get dismantled/reconfigured by financial manipulators and corporation consolidation. All that great beautiful best ever infrastructure that was talked about endlessly is a prop of manure smeared and flung like plastic cheap trinkets to the willing crowds.
They peddle in falsity and self-praise, and yet don't deliver any goods.

The Third Wave
This is what "herd immunity" looks like, a bunch of increasing waves ...
[SOURCE:†Jennifer Couzin-Frankel†|†Science Magazine†|†31 July 2020] .
Plus, virus's not only mutate, but they also tend to go into remission, because they are essentially bits of RNA in a lipid-protein shell. That's why they can be destroyed by soap, but are deadly once they get into your blood stream, because they mimic the bodies lipid-protein transport system and are able to attach to protein receptors on our various cells, except they transports RNA instead of nutrients, which hacks into the cell DNA replication system in order to replicate new viruses.
We are not yet immune to the common cold, the flu, herpes, and most other viruses, so why anyone would be so stupid to even think such a policy is a good idea is, well just plain stupid. A small investment in upfront intervention goes a long way toward long-term devastation to the economy and the larger social system.
But ideology and the greed of a group of wealthy who refuse any increase in taxes, or any responsibility at all for the larger cohesion of the social system, because they can isolate and shelter themselves behind walls and security forces, the hoi-polloi be damned.

Naziís and white nationalist movements are like mafia organizations combined with the fervor of religious movements. People are lead to believe that all members will benefit if they all stand with one another in the sect. There are cult leaders who exude and inspire confidence, and the organizations are connected by tight lipped inner circles. Funds are filtered in by large plutocratic connected organizations to promote false mythology about the economic system from which they exploit and derive their wealth, distracting the lower classes with false ideology while they steal the fruits of the social system and convince those on the lower rungs that they didnít work hard enough to make it big and become wealthy.
Our society actually ranks billionaires, like they were in some sort of competition. Honestly, what is the difference between 2.1 and 2.2 billion (mathematical answer : 100 million or 1,000 times 100,000 dollars) ? When you have that much wealth, the difference between those two numbers is enough to have 1,000 people make 100,000 dollars a year. One billion would be 10,000 people making 100,000 dollars a year. Thatís a lot of money being sucked out of the economy that could support a living wage. Seems to me that a country counting billionaires as a symbol of pride should instead be ashamed at how many working people are losing out. Ten thousand here, ten thousand there. Sooner or later you start talking about millions of people affected by the aggregation of extreme wealth into the hands of fewer than 10,000 people.
Hereís another math question. What is 10,000 times 10,000? Count the zeroes, and you get 8. So add 8 zeroes after the one and you get 100,000,000. Thatís how many people have been financial affected by the vacuum cleaner of wealth into the hands of a mere 10,000 people.
So do you think these hoarders of wealthy want to acknowledge their responsibility to the social systemís economic demise? Nope. Instead it is easier to hide behind self-serving ideology and brainwash a cult to do the dirty work propagandizing the lower orders, keeping them divided on cultural issues while the more important economic issues never get addressed.

Bad ass electric scooter : the Mercane Widewheel pro
So today, Fed Ex arrives with this 55 pound electric scooter from Mercane called the Wide Wheel Pro. I ordered the machine on Sunday, and got it today, on Thursday, at 1:33 pm. Oh blessed is the modern world of commercial shipping and transportation via the internet.
Oh. My. Fucking. God. OMFG. The thing is amazing. The wide wheels give the machine a lot of easily manageable traction. You can just release the throttle and tap the breaks just like a bicycle. Plus, OMG bonus times 2, the ability of the dual 500 watt wheel motors to go up hills is amazing. I am so looking forward to using this machine on Saturday to go to Simple Pleasure (3434 Balboa) and Wicked Donuts (1243 Noreiga) - 3 miles one way.
Here are my initial thoughts:
It is a bit bumpy on roads with holes, crags, issues, but is nevertheless stable. I also suggest releasing the throttle before breaking. Also I wouldn't ride it up curbs because the solid tires are not the same as pneumatic (air filed) tires, you could bust the rim.
After one ride over 6 city blocks and back I am fucking happy.
Here is a more sophisticated analysis of the Mercane wide-wheel pro
