about being liberal or conservative anymore y'all. That is a hype offered by the fascist whores who want to confuse the people with lies while they turn this country into an aristocratic police state. Some people will say anything to attain power and money. There is no such thing as the Liberal Media, but the Corporate media is very real.
I will read this tonight at the Simple Pleasures Cafe open mic. Starts at 7 pm.
You were bullshitted
You were told egregious lies
and you ate them savagely with your groveling hands
you poured those massive drinks of delusion
into your willing receptive mental orifice
with utter unadulterated glee
they told you big fat overwhelming lies
and prevaricated extensively at every single turn of the argument
and you screamed with joy
you cried blissful tears of holy deliverance
you actually thought that these villains and fiends
were your savior
you thought that pick-pockets were genuine when they cajoled you face to face
in order to distract you long enough to take your money
you thought that false pastors of misery and avarice actually cared about your spiritual development
or had any idea about what it is that actually constitutes your soul.
They spoke lavishly with nice sounding complimentary adjectives
and you loved every word
you thought dreams could be sold in fancy packages
so when someone comes along who tells you what you want to hear
plays to your ignorant prejudices
and makes you feel like a prince or princess
while crossing their fingers behind their back and holding the ace card in reserve
you think this is sheer fucking nirvana
Oh, My, Fucking, God.
Is there no way to show you how insane it is
this belief in the omnipotence of con artists
who actually fulfill their stated obligations
big huge wonderful beautiful obligations that they nuance into large towering ice sculptures
that will inevitably melt
that they mandate must be placed everywhere
as the evidence that is supposed to support the endless lies and prevarications
I mean look
promises that are unfulfilled get justified by
more ad hominem attacks?
more mischaracterizations of what is really going on?
all of it hiding behind dubious proposals
camouflaged by endless attempts at honest discretion that are just smoke screens for other nefarious
This is how charlatans and manipulators operate
and they always surround themselves with sycophants and losers
because they need constant adulation from inferior fools
and your insignificance is just fuel for their sick ambitions.

I am back
I had a server error that I had to call godaddy.com in order to resolve beginning a short time after
my last post, 12 December 2017. I didn't feel like dealing with it at the time, so I procrastinated
it until today.
The employee who helped me was awesome. He got the problem resolved in less than 15 minutes, after I
sent him the error code in an email.
I can't say enough about how awesome the godaddy service is.

Doug Jones wins
Thank God Alabama did not elect racist serial pedophile Roy Moore. Instead, the majority voted for a
federal prosecutor who prosecuted the bombing of a Birmingham Baptist Church by 2 KKK vigilantes in
Thank you Alabama.

You are Never Too Old to change
A good friend of mine sat me down and spoke with me for 2 hours this weekend and helped me
understand how my own personal bullshit affects and hurts my overall effectiveness sometimes. He
told me "You do it with Love" and I realize that much of what I do is often throw rhetorical darts
under the misguided notion that this will shock others into realization, when all it really does is
hurt their feelings. So this week I am just sleep walking, stunned by the truth of what my friend
was trying to help me understand. I would call it an epiphany, but it's not something that is
instantaneous. It's more like a slowly moving crescendo, where every day brings a new realization.
Suddenly I have a better grasp of how the issues in my past are guiding and directing my responses
to certain situations in a very non beneficial manner.
At the same time I am overwhelmed by the love. A true friend is willing to sit down with you for 2
hours and help you understand. It makes me appreciate the people who are good in my life.

Greg Popovich speaks the truth
Greg Popovich is the long time head coach of the San Antonio Spurs since 1998. He is very
intelligent and has a way of being convincing when he speaks, in addition to being an easy add to
the NBA Hall of Fame after having an incredible run over the last 20 years in San Antonio.
"It's beyond egregious to think about, first of all, how many Americans are in jail in the first
place; mostly drug-related, more than anybody in the world. Far more than anybody in the world as
far as civilized countries. So that's both unacceptable and embarrassing as a nation. We think that
we're exceptional, and in many ways we are. But that's one that we're exceptional in the wrong way.
Beyond that, a lot of that incarceration happens to people of color. So it's just an egregious
situation. To be there for 15 or 20 or 25 years, being wrongly accused of whatever it might be –
rape or murder or whatever the offense – that's mind-boggling. I can't even put my head around that.
I don't know how the guys that I've met, I don't know how they've kept their patience and kept their
emotions in check, and how they didn't go absolutely crazy knowing that they were innocent and
sitting there. So the project is an unbelievable benefit to the people in this country, and everyone
should understand what the Innocence Project does, and how some people have been treated. Because
it's just beyond the pale, it's just inconceivable."

So when you are lacking in one of these levels, or when you have issues with any of the
pyscho-social issues, this continues into your life as you age, and affects the way you perceive and
interact with other human beings.
Every now and then you have to experience negative and irrational human behavior that you might feel
is disrespectful or antagonistic towards your person. In the short term this might make you upset or
angry, but in the long term, the best way to handle these matters is to rise above and try to better
understand where the other person is coming from. Maybe they are correct in their assessment, and
it is you that needs to realize the errors of your ways. Maybe not. But never let someone else's
issues scar your consciousness over the long term. If you are fair and sure that whatever happened
is largely not a result of what you did, if you remove the areas in which you could have handled the
situation better, than the rest of your approach should immediately understand that the other human
being is just having issues that they cannot resolve except by acting the way they do. Meditate and
ponder on this understanding for as long as necessary. Holding grudges, pursuing blame, or
demeaning other people behind their back is completely ineffective and merely reduces your capacity
to evolve by distracting you with irreconcilable attempts at salvaging your wounded ego. Almost all
of the time it's just better to move on and accept both you and the other person's imperfections.
Children who are exposed to adverse childhood experiences may become overloaded with stress
hormones, leaving them in a constant state of arousal and alertness to environmental and relational
threats. Therefore, they may have difficulty focusing on school work, and consolidating new memory,
making it harder for them to learn at school. Approximately one in three or four children have
experienced significant ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences). A study by the Area Health Education
Center of Washington State
University found that students with at least three ACEs are three times as likely to experience
academic failure, six times as likely to have behavioral problems, and five times as likely to have
These students may have trouble trusting teachers and other adults, and may
have difficulty creating and maintaining relationships. The trauma-informed school movement aims to
train teachers and staff to help children self-regulate, and to help families that are having
problems that result in children's normal response to trauma, rather that simply jumping to
punishment. It also seeks to provide behavioral consequences that will not re-traumatize a child.
Punishment is often ineffective, and better results can often be achieved with positive
reinforcement. Out-of-school suspensions can be particularly bad for students with difficult home
lives; forcing students to remain at home may increase their distrust of adults.
