It's not
about being liberal or conservative anymore y'all. That is a hype offered by the fascist whores who want to confuse the people with lies while they turn this country into an aristocratic police state. Some people will say anything to attain power and money. There is no such thing as the Liberal Media, but the Corporate media is very real.
I confronted a fellow at a cafe that I have encountered for about a year now. He would say hello
and speak with every single customer if I was waiting in line. He would also often engage in
pronounced conversations with the other customers. Then it would come my turn, and he just reaches
out his hand and says nothing to me, often not even looking at me with his eyes.
This didn't bother me personally. Why should I give a shit that some barista acknowledges me? But
as a student of human psychology, the behavior was obvious. I could analyze but it would be only
speculation. No one really ever knows why other people you vaguely know do what they do, and any
attempt at interpretation is bound to fall victim to your own internalized biases and personal issues.
Would this be a one time thing, I would just push it aside. But it was happening every single time,
and I recently just ran into the guy at a neighborhood bar when I went to the bank ATM and saw him
and a few friends hanging out. So this morning, once again, for perhaps the twentieth time, it
happens. I am
waiting behind four other customers and he is personable to all of them, but is silent when I arrive
with his hand extended for me to give him my Contigo coffee mug, not looking at me at all.
I ask in a purposefully meak voice: "You say hello to everyone else ... but me?" He immediately
moved his eyes up to meet mine. His response was that he was tired, and then I replied, "I mean it's
all good, I was just wondering ... Okay ... no worries."
Some people might be offended when you inquire about things of this nature. My view is that I could
just keep my thoughts to myself, and just assume my own views about these matters. After all, the
thoughts are happening regardless I vocally say anything. However, I had enough respect for this
fellow that I asked him
what is up in the most inoffensive way I could. I gave him an opportunity to tell me or at least
let him know how I was perceiving our current interactions.
This is how you think when you are comfortable with yourself. When you are insecure or unsettled
however, you perceive antagonism or degradation through the prism of your mind. Which is why you
have to change your way of thinking. That way how your mind processes events is largely up to you.
Events are going to happen. They are not going to change. Sometimes life is unjust and unfair.
But you are still going to be living in the aftermath these events, so how you adapt and evolve is
necessary
for your own mental health, in addition to being the most beneficial path for all individuals concerned.

Fears
Honestly I'm very afraid of what these fuckers have planned, but I trust in the true patriots of our
country who have filtered this out. Thank Malcolm Vance (do a google).
This government shutdown is insane. Government is actually more efficient than private enterprise
on certain sectors of the socio-economic spectrum -- but not all. 800,000 employees out of a
population of 330 million is less than -- (800,000 divided by 330,000,000) -- is less than 0.5 percent.
I ask you this: what private enterprise in the United States has management expenses/employees less
than 0.5% over services rendered?
Answer: none.
We do not have a bloated government on the employee side of the matter. The Bloated
side is the outsourced money - going to private contractors - or the financing of the government
debt necessitated by the tax reductions. Government costs need to be paid for. The idea that
government costs can be reduced beyond a certain minimum efficiency is a lie that justifies the
paradigm which supports loaning governments the sums that are inherently necessary to manage a
society of 330 millions of people. What happens is that the wealthy buy the bonds and earn the
interest on the loans to the government, rather than pay their taxes.
This has been understood by ancient to modern societies throughout human history. If the upper
classes horde the wealth created by their population, a distribution problem occurs that eventually
impoverishes and enslaves a vast majority of the population. After that, the real catastrophes of
civil war, world war, economic malaise, and social cataclysm occur. The stressed out masses cannot
look at their leaders with respect when all of the promises made fall apart. In the ancient days,
sacrifices of animals and war prisoners were just an effort to distract and compel the public to
obey. What do we do in the modern world, when we
humans are supposedly more sophisticated?
We offer up distractions. Look over here, over here, not there, over here. The true villians are
over here, not over there.
Repeat.

Oh and my music links
If you wanna hear some of my music creations, scroll down beyond the archive links on the left side
until you get to the music links. I have a whole lot more that I haven't yet posted
(procrastination, gets you all the time).
I'm re-listening to Wonderall right now. I don't play it anymore, and keep reminding myself to
relearn it every time.

An oldie but goodie
This is a song I wrote in the mid 1990's when I was the co-guitarist in a band called "Swamp
Lizard". I played around on the scene a few times, and then the band died. This was one of our fan
favorites, and my favorite too. That's because I wrote it. The lead I play here is my own
improvisation, influenced by the other guitarist, Will was his name. God bless you Will. I wonder
what he's doing now, 25 years later.
Will also advised on the lyrics too. It was a really cool moment in my music life.

When do we impeach this mother fucker
I will update this post gradually, while I enumerate all the impeachable offenses. Colluding with a
foreign government to subvert the people's government should be high on the list.

Swimming
I fiddle with the keyboard every now and then. It's so much more intuitive than the guitar because
all the notes are placed linearly from left to right, whereas with the guitar it's based upon
patterns and forms. You even have different colored keys to help.
I created this song in 2007. I call it "Swimming". I basically alternate between two chords and
play a scale. The ending is what I like about the song. I call it "swimming" because that's what
we do in life, and then we pass into the unknown.
Calorie restriction diets have been around for 100 years. How is that working out?
I eat once or twice a day, all within an 8 hour window. I never feel hunger or like I have to force
myself to avoid eating. During the school day (ask my students) I eat once right after 10am and at
about 12:30. No snacks in between. Occasionally I might eat a little bit when I get home, but more
usually I eat nothing after the main meal at 12:30. During the weekend, I usually don't eat until
the afternoon, sometimes 4pm is the first meal.
None of this is due to sheer will power. It's so easy. Eating high fat, moderate protein, and low
(but nutrient dense) carbs is easy. It's also the natural diet of the human species until the mass
consumerism food production system that makes money off of horrific diet practices. And then the
pharmaceutical industry profits off of the "medicines" sold to alleviate all the syndromes due to
the bad diet.

Intermittent fasting explained
Apparently all the recent science completely supports the benefits of fasting. Dr. Mindy Pelz explains.
The calorie counting theory is wrong. As the inimitable Dr. Jason Fung explains.
