It's not
about being liberal or conservative anymore y'all. That is a hype offered by the fascist whores who want to confuse the people with lies while they turn this country into an aristocratic police state. Some people will say anything to attain power and money. There is no such thing as the Liberal Media, but the Corporate media is very real.
I detest Scott Walker's pretentious intellectuallism

Update on previous World Series prediction
Oh my those Cleveland Indians are ending the year hot hot hot. Currently going for win number 19
tonite. In the modern baseball era, after 1900, the longest win streak "including a tie" goes to
the 1926 Giants (yea buddy). The longest streak "not including a tie" belongs to the 1935 Cubs.
OMG my two favorite teams. In 3rd place, the 2002 Oakland
Athletics won 20 in row.
I remember that win streak, back when Miguel Tejada was the man, hitting .308 with 34 homers and
whooping 130 rbi's. Eric Chavez hit .275 with 34 homers and 109 rbi's along with his Gold Glove D at
3B. Barry Zito, Mark Mulder, and Tim Hudson anchored the rock solid Pitching statff. Oakland had a
good team, and would have gone to the World Series were it not for the incredible defense and
pitching of the New York Yankees. They had the Yanks down 2 wins to zero in the playoffs, and yet
New York came back. One amazing Derek Jeter play at the plate. That was the last time the A's ever
came close as sniffing the WS.
So much for "Money ball". What a ludicrous joke.
Anyway, I have to update my predictions. It's gonna be Cleveland versus the Diamondbacks. I would
love the Cubs reunion but the D'backs have been magical this year, and have the bullpen and pitching
staff to compete in the playoffs. Especially since they got JD Martinez, he who recently hit 3
homers in a game for the AZ win. The two hottest teams in September will end up in the World Series
is what I say.
I still love the Brewers, but it's hard to compete when your number one pitcher Jimmy Nelson goes
down for the season with a rotator cuff injury. I had him on all my fantasy teams too. Major
suck-ation. I immediately picked up Brewer rookie Brandon Woodruff hoping the young stud continues
his rookie dominance. I am watching him against the Pirates tonite. His poise and confidence is
impressive early on despite getting sabotaged with a first pitch home run by the sly veteran
McCutchen. But Woodruff was unfazed, and has now gone 4 innings with no more runs, allowing only 1
walk and 2 more hits. And that walk could have been a strikeout had the umpire called the low pitch
that
was a strike.
Indians vs. Diamondbacks is my call for the World Series.

Updated World Series predictions
Well now look at those Indians and Diamondbacks go with their consecutive victories. It is a secret
pleasure that the D'backs victories came at the expense of the Dodgers.
Hmmm. Me-thinks that it might very well be the Indians vs. the D'backs this year. Both of them are
power house team offenses in addition to having good bullpens. The Dodgers pitching staff is
falling apart, and I am sadly down on the Brewers with my man Jimmy Nelson suffering a shoulder
rotator cuff injury. However, I still cannot write off the Brew-crew this year. All they have to
do is get into the playoffs and then you never know.

Xiuhtezcatl Martinez
He is a seventeen year old indigenous climate change activist who was raised in Boulder, Colorado.
His ancestry dates back to the Aztecs. I love his long hair.
Here he is on the Bill Maher show, Friday 8 September 2017
What he says in this segment about Cows and Dairy has me thinking. I eat Sour Cream, certain kinds
of dairy-based cheese (in addition to goat-based cheese), and put 2 or 3 fluid ounces of Half-n-Half
in my coffee every day. Maybe twice a month I
might eat anywhere between 4 to 12 ounces of beef.
It is true that raising cattle necessitates growing lots of grain to feed them and using tremendous
amounts of water. It is true the methane releases from cattle is more than automobiles. However, I
have always thought that the problem with the
modern food situation is that so many people eat more food than they need to because the way they
eat is completely out of metabolic balance. Dumping all that sugar into our bloodstream, or all the
processed foods that become sugar in the bloodstream, forces us to eat more than we need because our
bodies are too busy freaking out from all the blood sugar to utilize the fats and proteins
efficiently. Then there are misconceptions about fats that lead people to eat "low-fat" diets which
deprive them of the ability to effectively absorb minerals and vitamins. The "fast-food" industry
is more responsible for the situation Xiuhtezcatl and Maher describe here, in my opinion. We do not
need to eat a hamburger every single day, or even 3 times a day -- as is the case for some folks.
But I agree with Xiuhtezcatl completely. It doesn't have to be
this way. You do get to choose how to eat 3 meals a day. Laws could be mandated to make factory
production illegal, just like the Jewish community
made decisions about what foods are Kosher. It's about long term solutions to the inevitable
problems when you use an industrial complex solution to the food distribution system.

Three Hurricanes at once
Behold. Hurricane Katia hovering around Veracruz, Mexico. Hurricane Irma barrelling towards
Florida and freaking out 30 years National Weather Service professionals. And then here comes
Hurricane Jose following in the path of Irma.
WTF. This is amazing.

OMG
This thing is going to destroy Florida. 225 mph wind gusts and sustained 180 mph winds. When the
average temperature of the water raises 1.2 degrees Fahrenheit, that means it rises higher in other
areas and is lower in others due to the nature of averages. Hurricanes get more energy from higher
temperature water. These storms are not only more frequent, but also more virulent.
In 50 years, Florida will be under water and the Gulf Coast will become a huge ghost town. New
Orleans is very likely to gone, part of the vast swamp South of Lake Pontchartrain. It saddens me to
say that because New Orleans is such a special place, but never let your emotions get in the way of
your science, otherwise you might become an evangelical zealot.
Fact: the seas are rising 3 times more than anticipated. Archeological
excavations of ancient coastal cities are finding times in the past when the sea rise was awesome
and sudden and vast. We measly humans are suddenly realizing that the seas are likely to rise at
least 200 feet in the next 50 to 100 years.

World Series prediction
This year I think it will be the Yankees vs. the Brewers. I don't see Boston or Houston's pitching
staff overcoming the Yanks, and don't overlook Matt Holiday for his RISP hitting ability. The Cubs
could very well be in the mix, but I don't think Washington has the staff honestly. Why would I
pick the Brewers over the Dodgers? You might call it intuition, but since I was born in San
Francisco there is a large degree of bias in that perspective. I just don't see the starting
pitching holding up during the playoffs. The Dodgers do have a great bullpen, but it's been the
starters that have failed (Kershaw especially) to hold in the post season over the last decade.
Kershaw, Hill, Wood, Darvish, Maeda, Ryu, and McCarthy(?) versus Nelson, Anderson, Davies, Woodruff,
and Matt Garza.
It could be the Yankees and Dodgers again after all is said and done. I just don't see the Cubs
repeating, even though they are still a really good team. It's gonna be either the jagernaut
Dodgers or the cinderella Brewers in my opinion.
Don't blow off the Indians either. Terry Francona is a master in the post season. Also don't
overlook the Twins, Diamondbacks, Angels or the Mariners, because stranger things have happened.
But if I had the courage to put big money on the line, I say it's the Yanks vs. the Brew Crew in the
WS this year.
